Project description:
The images for the video installation Graw Böckler’s Knot were shot in Bucarest, Warsaw and Berlin – citys where the intercultural experiment “The Knot” took place during spring, summer and autumn 2010. Fire, smoke and explosions are a visual counterbalance to the perception of urban spaces. Discursive counterpoints are created with Subtitles and Interviews. The music is by Axel Willner (The Field). The video is by visual artists Graw Böckler (Raum für Projektion).
Die Bilder für die Videoinstallation Graw Böckler’s Knot wurden in Bukarest, Warschau und Berlin gedreht – den Orten an denen das interkulturelle Experiment “The Knot” im Frühjahr, Sommer und Herbst 2010 gastierte. Feuer, Rauch und Explosionen schaffen ein visuelles Gegengewicht zum Abschreiten urbaner Räume; Schriftbilder und Interviews erzeugen den diskursiven Kontrapunkt. Die Musik ist von Axel Willner (The Field), das Video von Graw Böckler (Raum für Projektion).
