In occasion of the DAS weekend, GlogauAIR is presenting a videoart screening by Johnny Amore at Roderich Film Kunst Venue in the Glogauerstr. The screening shows a north european based selection of Art Movies, a variety of contemporary and experimental films that the artist Johnny Amore collected while traveling around and getting friends with the authors. The films will hijack the audience and take them to a different world of Northern Methadiabolic Optical Explanations. The balance of normality will flinch, irritations will crawl and the perception of life will not be the same after a great dose of entertainment and pure art.
Im Rahmen von DAS Weekend, präsentiert GlogauAIR eine Videoart selektion von Johnny Amore in der Roderich Film Kunst in der Glogauerstr. Das Screening zeigt eine eine Vielfalt an zeitgenössischen und experimentellen Kunstfilmen, die der Künstler Johnny Amore während seiner Reisen von ihn bekannten Künstlern einsammelte. Die Filme entführen das Publikum in eine andere Welt der ‘Methadiabolisch Optischen Erklärungen’ . Das Gleichgewicht der Normalität wird zurückschrecken, Irritationen werden in sie kriechen, und die Wahrnehmung des Lebens wird nicht die selbe bleiben, nach dieser großen Dosis an Amüsement und reiner Kunst.

GlogauAIR is a non profit organisation which works as an interdisciplinary platform for art and culture. It’s main activity is an Artist in Residence programme, which promotes the internationalisation of individual art projects and allows an artistic discussion between the artists and the city of Berlin. The programme gives the artists the opportunity to examine their work critically and to fit it in a global context. Open studio events, festivals for soundart, videoart and performance, lectures and talks, as well as other informal activities create a dialogue with art production and the audience of the city.
GlogauAIR ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die sich als interdisziplinäre Schnittstelle der Künste versteht. Das Haupt Tätigkeit ist einen in Residence Programme, ein Ort, der die Internationalisierung von individuellen Kunstschaffen fördert und eine künstlerische Auseinandersetzung zwischen den internationalen KünstlerInnen und der Stadt Berlin ermöglicht. Das Programm gibt den KünstlerInnen Gelegenheit, ihre Arbeit kritisch zu untersuchen und in einem globalen Zusammenhang zu vergleichen. Open Studio-Events, Festivals für Soundart, Videokunst und Performance, Gastvorträge, sowie andere informelle Aktivitäten erschaffen einen Dialog mit Kunstproduzenten und dem Publikum der Stadt.
